Dried fruits make excellent snacks, however commercially dried fruits often have added sugar and sulphite as preservatives. Dehydrated fruits without sugar and preservative is a better option but it's pricey! Making dried fruits at home is actually very easy, all you need is a dehydrator.

4 large/ 5 small Mangoes
Method:
1. Peel and slice the mangoes, about 5mm - 10mm thick. Arrange the mangoes on the cooking pot, crispier basket and/ or dehydrator rack. I'm using Ninja Grill which comes with a dehydrator function. 2. Turn on the machine, select DEHYDRATE function, set the timer: 6 hours (5mm thickness) or 8 hours (10mm thickness). I usually do this at night and "harvest" the dried mango on the next morning. Note:
- Do adjust the dehydrating time according to the thickness of the mango.
- Thicker dried mangoes texture is softer compared to thin slices.
