These chicken drumsticks are marinated in buttermilk and deep fried to perfection. It's crispy and crunchy on the outside, tender and succulent inside.
Buttermilk is slightly acidic, the enzymes present in buttermilk help in breaking down the protein in the chicken resulting in tender and flavourful fried chicken. Soaking the chicken overnight in buttermilk helps to tenderise the meat and the meat stays tender and juicy after deep frying.
