Air Fried Stuffed Chinese Bread Stick (aka Youtiao) 气炸香脆酿油条
This is a popular dish in most seafood restaurants in Singapore and Malaysia. Those that we normally eat in restaurants are deep fried with oil. My version is air fried, thanks to some members who shared the idea.
Well, this method uses very little oil, basically, I just spray some olive oil on it. The amount of oil used is less than 1% ? or 0.1 % of those served in the restaurant?
Next question is.... which one taste better? Verdict?
Homemade of course. No MSG, less salty...more healthy! and the fish paste is made of fresh mackerel flesh, no fishy smell, really GOOD!
Click here for Easy Homemade Fish Paste recipe.
Ingredients:
Fish Paste (I used homemade fish paste, click here for recipe)
Chinese Bread Stick aka YouTiao
Raw Sesame Seeds

Light & Easy Chicken Potatoes Curry 简易马铃薯咖喱鸡丁
Another of my creation of curry specially customised for my son.....a 6yo little boy who loves curry but can't take any spicy food. This is an easy and quick method to cook curry. No milk or coconut milk or cream needed. It's light and best to pair with rice and prata.
However, this recipe is flexible, if you like it spicy, just add some curry paste and chili :)

Braised Pork Ribs With Bitter Gourd 古早味的苦瓜焖排骨
It's been a long time I never cook this. The last time I cooked this was about 3 years ago. And, that was my first attempt. No bad huh? :) That was before I start my blogspot.

| This is the photo that I shared among my personal friends on Facebook. My first attempt cooking Braised Pork Ribs with Bitter Gourd. |
I don't expect my little boy to eat bitter gourd. Seriously, I'm not a fan of it! I don't like bitter gourd soup, bitter gourd fried egg...etc etc. But braised it with pork ribs or chicken, that's one of my favourite. Mom used to cook these for us, love it so much!!
It's important to get rid of the bitterness because I really can't take bitter food. Really taste like medicine to me lol.... Mom taught me to rub salt on it, let it stand for a while, then wash off. The first time works!! but this time, not sure the reason...the bitter gourd still a little bitter even after all these acts. Probably I bought an extremely bitter Bitter Gourd?! lol...
