This was my first drawing on cheese toast using rice paper. It's actually quite easy to draw as I traced the outline of the Doraemon before colouring.
The only challenge is the colour. I used natural colour from blue peas flower, charcoal powder and red rice powder. However, the blue colour turned a little purple when contact with cream cheese. I then realised that cream cheese is moderately acidic, therefore the reaction happened.
Look how the colour changed...
Lesson learnt, I'll be careful when choosing colour in my next attempt. ;)

Spread some cream cheese on a slice of bread. Place the rice paper on the bread. |
Mix red rice powder with some milk. Colour with red and blue according to Doraemon colours. |
Done with colouring. Ready to go into the toaster oven. |
Lightly toast in a toaster oven. |
Cute and delicious Doraemon Cheese Toast is ready to serve. |
