Snow cod, a pricey, nutritious and delicious fish. This is a quick and easy steam fish recipe that I'd highly recommend to busy parents. Prepare the marinated fish in advance, steam this together with rice. No mess at all and of course, most importantly, it's tasty! I personally love the sweetness of the wolfberries. :)
1 Snow Cod Steak (about 1" thick/ 280g. Cleaned, dry with kitchen towel) 鳕鱼 1 片
2 slices Ginger (julienned)
1 tbsp Wolfberries
Some Chinese coriander/ spring onion (for garnishing)
Pinch of Salt, rub over the cod steak
1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Shao Xing Wine
2 tsp Abalone Sauce (optional, I don't add this when I cook for toddler or young children.)
|Steamed Cod Fish, without abalone sauce.|
Suitable for young children and elderly.
