Doraemon Cheese Toast 哆啦A梦奶酪吐司

This was my first drawing on cheese toast using rice paper. It's actually quite easy to draw as I traced the outline of the Doraemon before colouring.

The only challenge is the colour. I used natural colour from blue peas flower, charcoal powder and red rice powder. However, the blue colour turned a little purple when contact with cream cheese. I then realised that cream cheese is moderately acidic, therefore the reaction happened.

Look how the colour changed...

Lesson learnt, I'll be careful when choosing colour in my next attempt. ;)

How I made it....

Get ready all three colours - blue pea flower extract, charcoal powder and red rice powder.

Mix charcoal powder with some milk.
Place a piece of rice paper on a Doraemon picture.
Rice paper can be purchased from DGZ SHOP.
Click HERE, pm to place order.

Use a fine paint brush, trace the outline of the Doraemon.
