This is a popular dessert aka sweet soup/ Tong Shui in Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Malaysia. A tasty dessert that helps to nourish the lungs, lower cholesterol, good for skin complexion, and many more benefits to our overall health.

Easy Recipe - Homemade Almond Cream Dessert 
Made using Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender 


Here's a super easy way to prepare Almond Cream Dessert, made using Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender HB150. Just add all ingredients into the blender and press <SMOOTH SOUP> setting. The blender will automatically run the cook and blend program, the default time is 30mins. When the program is complete, the blender will auto-switch to <KEEP WARM>. To serve: Pour through a sieve and enjoy!

80g Chinese Sweet Almond 南杏 

1 tbsp Rice 

35g Rock Sugar (This amount is less sweet)

500ml Water

Note: Unlike almond cream served in most dessert shops, this homemade almond cream is made without thickening with flour. If you like it thicker, add more rice or cook a little longer after the final step, you can manual select COOK mode to boil the soup. This soup can be used as a soup base for desserts such as glutinous rice ball aka Tang Yuan, yam paste etc...

Method: 

1. Rinse all raw ingredients, soak almond and rice for 1 hour/ overnight. Follow the steps in the pictures below. 




Add all ingredients into Ninja Cold & Hot Blender. 

Select <SMOOTH SOUP>
The program will auto-cook and blend,
the dessert will be ready in 30mins. 

Pour the almond cream through a sieve/ cloth strainer, serve warm.
