German cookies are mild in flavor, not so sweet and melt in mouth. I added some sprinkles on top to make it looks colourful as I was making these for giveaway on Chinese New Year.
Ingredients:
250g Unsalted Butter (softened)
80g Icing Sugar
250g Potato Flour
160g Cake Flour
2 tsp Milk Powder
For decoration: Some red coloring / sprinkles

Method:
1. Cream butter and icing sugar.
2. Sift in flour and milk powder.
3. Form a dough. Cover with cling wrap and keep in the fridge for at least 1 hour. I prepared the dough in the morning and made the cookies at night.
4. Remove from the fridge, let it sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes.
5. When it's pliable, add some red food coloring. Divide dough into 10g each.
6. Put some generous amount of sprinkles in a plate/ bowl. Take a dough and dip onto the sprinkles. Place the dough on the lined baking tray.
7. Use a fork, gently press on the dough.
8. Repeat for the rest.
9. Bake in a preheated oven 120'C 45 minutes, with fan.
7. Remove from oven, carefully transfer to a rack to cool.
8. Keep in an air-tight container. If you like my recipe, click here, LIKE & follow my facebook page to receive more recipe updates. Don't forget to change the setting to 'SEE FIRST' if you wish to see my post on your Facebook news feed. Enjoy!
