Crouton is on higher demand than bread in my house. It's so fragrant, crunchy and tasty! The combination of butter, garlic and parsley....Wow... it's a perfect snack for my kid at home! Need not eat with soup or salad, just these....so addictive!
I normally make croutons with leftover bread. Recently I was trying out some new bread recipe. At this experiment stage, unsuccessful bakes is normal. I don't like to waste food especially homemade food that I had spent time and effort making it. This was one of the unsuccessful loaf, it's soft but the texture is more like cake, so I decided to transform it to crouton.
5-6 slices Bread, cut into small cubes 面包，切小块
45g Salted Butter 牛油
1 tsp Garlic Powder 蒜粉
1 tsp Dried Parsley 香菜

1. Mix all seasoning in a bowl.
2. Toss seasoning mixture with bread, place on a lined baking tray.
3. Bake in a preheated oven 150'C for 15 minutes. Toss the bread, continue to bake until crispy and golden brown.
放进烤炉，烤150度 15 分钟。 取出，搅拌。继续烤至香脆，金黄色。
4. Store in an airtight container once cooled.
