Honey Garlic Baby Back Ribs 蜜汁蒜香猪小排

Honey Garlic Baby Back Ribs 蜜汁蒜香猪小排 - Succulent, tender and delicious baby back ribs marinated in the flavourful sweet and savoury seasonings. Can be done in an oven or an air fryer. Both method works perfectly. 

Ingredients: 材料

500g Baby Back Ribs 排骨 500克

I used imported ribs like this one from France or hormone-free baby back ribs. 

Marinade: 腌料

4 cloves Garlic (crushed) 蒜头 4颗,压成蒜茸

1tsp Grated Ginger 姜蓉 1小匙

Pinch of Garlic Pepper/ Black Pepper 大蒜胡椒或黑胡椒 少许

Pinch of Chinese Five Spice 五香粉 少许

1 1/2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce 海鲜酱 1 1/2 汤匙

1 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce 酱油 1 1/2 汤匙

3 tbsp Honey 蜜糖 3汤匙

Toasted Sesame Seeds for garnishing 芝麻 适量
(Use raw sesame seeds for air frying method)

Method: 步骤

1. Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl. 

2. Dip and coat the ribs with marinade and place in a clean container. Cover and keep in refrigerator. Let marinate for at least 6 hours or preferably overnight. 

You may use full rack and marinate in a ziplock bag.

3. Cook in air fryer 气炸方法: Place the ribs on the air fryer pan. Reserve the marinade. Cook for 5 minutes.
放进气炸锅,腌料保留。气炸 5分钟。

4. Add some sesame seeds into the reserved marinade. Pour the sauce on the ribs, continue to cook for 6 minutes. 
撒上芝麻,加入腌料,气炸 6分钟或至熟。

5. Oven grilled method 烘烤方法: Transfer the ribs to a deep baking dish, reserve the marinade. 

Bake in a preheated oven 200'C for 20 minutes (Note to myself: Rack 2, Traditional Mode)


Baste with the reserved marinade. 

Flip over, bake another 10 minutes. 

涂上酱汁,把排骨翻过来。烤10 分钟。

Reset oven temperature to 220'C, flip over the ribs, transfer to rack 4, bake for 5 minutes.

把排骨放在上层,220 度烤 5 分钟。

Remove from oven, garnish with toasted sesame seeds, let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.
